Highlights and Runners to Watch

It certainly was an impressive win for the Mackay and Townsville Guinea’s winner in No Going Back at Ipswich on Thursday over 1350M. The four – year old gelding was ridden perfectly by Cody Collis to win running away from the heavily backed My Snow Queen. He certainly looks back to his best and in for an exciting prep especially when he gets out to 1600m.

Anarchy was another impressive winner this week, bringing up his second career victory. From the awkward gate he had to work hard to find the lead. He did all the hard work and held off all the challengers for a much-deserved win.

Runners to Watch

Talk Time could not have been any more impressive with his first ever start in a race. The 3YO gelding had the outside gate and had no luck travelling 3 wide the trip. He still let down in the straight to only go down by 0.3 of a length.

Befana was a huge run, running third at Eagle Farm on Saturday. Lindsay said she still isn’t 100% wound up and looks to be in for a cracking prep this time in.

Another eye catcher was Overseas at Eagle Farm. He copped interference at the wrong time which cost him a top 3 finish in our eyes. He is another one who is going fantastic this time in.

In Townsville Kefalonia looks ready for a big showing next start after another good run last week. He is ready for the step up to 1300m next start and will drop back in class to a BM65.

The Hatch team had a big bunch of runners at the trials on Monday morning.

Xtravagant Party, Motomiss, Yourallthat, Windjana, Bring Me Flowers and Cosmic Gossip were all impressive winning or running second or third. Look forward to seeing them in a race soon.

To watch from the Trials.

Horses Available

We bought a tough Spirit of Boom gelding in Boom Ranga this week. We believe he is the perfect horse for the new QTIS Bonus series starting in February this year for older horses. There is more information here:

We also still have spots available in our cracking QTIS Nicconi Filly from the recent Magic Millions Sales. She is by the Sire of Nature Strip out of a Dam who has already foaled a Stakes Winner.  She has already been broken in and looks just outstanding this filly. There is more information here:
