It certainly was a great week for team Hatch with six winners in seven days in Cairns, Toowoomba, Bowen, Gold Coast and Dalby. It was a welcome relief for the team as it seemed we had been cursed with bad luck and bad gates lately.
Last Saturday was a huge day with Sayl winning the Cairns Amateurs Cup, then Wanda Rox and Talk Time brought up a stable double in Toowoomba.
Bowen on Thursday had the Northern Stable strike again with Circularity bringing up his third win in 9 weeks. Starting at $1.30 favorite, Justin Stanley led from barrier to box with the 6-year-old gelding cruising to victory by 3.5 lengths. Circularity will now go out for a break in Toowoomba where he will target the Magic Millions Country Cup on Magic Millions Day.
Tropic Sands was very impressive winning in the Gold Coast on Saturday. He was extremely unlucky at his last start when 4 wide the trip and still only losing by a head. Craig Robertson took bad luck out of the equation, by leading the whole way over the 1900m.

In the last race of the day at Dalby, Justin Stanley was at it again winning on Sensational Reward in the BM62 over 1200m. From an outside gate Stanley took the horse to the lead and the gelding went on to win by 1.5 lengths.
A special mention to Bright Daisy who looked the winner in the straight in Race 5, until a bump at a crucial stage cost her from winning. She has been very unlucky to not win her last two starts now.
New Horses Arriving
We were fortunate to pick up two new horses at the Inglis Sales last week.
Both of these horses have shares left in them.

Ventura Ocean –
The horse is a multiple City Winner who also ran in the $440,000 Archer last year only going down by 3 Lengths.

Blend –
5 year – old Class 2 gelding that is in full work.
Blend won his Maiden 1120m at Grafton coming from well back to defeat Milo Man which then went on to win six in succession. Milo Man had a similar form to Blend before being moved to Nick Walsh in Rockhampton where he won 6 races during the Summer earlier this year.
