Circularity could not have been more impressive winning the Dalby Newmarket on Saturday. Jumping from the outside gate Justin Huxtable took Circularity straight to the front. He then got taken on from Neds Gully at the 800m mark which definitely looked like it would take its toll later in the race.
However, down the straight this tough gelding streaked away to win by 2.3 lengths, in which was one of his best wins for the stable. This win brought up the big Dalby Double when he won the Cannonball Lightning 4 weeks ago and now the Dalby Newmarket.
Circularity was purchased at the Inglis sales in early 2023 and the horse has now won five races with Lindsay Hatch and has taken his tally to ten wins overall. The horse will be aiming at a NMW race in Doomben in three weeks before he has a freshen up.
After his break Circularity will head to North Queensland for the Carnival targeting races like the Mackay Lightning and Cleveland Bay. This year the horse won’t have the burden of having to over race to qualify. He will be able to go in with his races spaced where he performs at his best.
